Every text, every commentary, the Daf Yomi, the Parasha and your own plan with its reminder stay free, with no ads. A plan adds someone to learn with: you ask about the line in front of you, and it answers from the page and the commentaries on it.

How the credits count

A question to the Talmid counts 1. A question to the Avrech counts 5, and to the Rav 10, because they read further and think longer before answering. So Yesod's 100 credits are 100 questions to the Talmid, 20 to the Avrech, or any mix of the two; Tiferet's 300 are, for example, 60 questions to the Avrech or 30 to the Rav; Keter's 1,100 are 110 questions to the Rav, or 50 to the Rav and 120 to the Avrech.

A harder question counts double, and gets double the room to answer: comparing the commentators, laying out the flow of a sugya, tracing a passage to halacha, any question in Kabbalah, or a very long question. The count is on the button before you ask, every time, and nothing is ever added after the answer. If an answer fails, the credits come back.

You highlight a line and ask; follow-up questions continue the same conversation, and earlier conversations are kept for you. The chavruta remembers the language, length and background you chose, and you can make it forget everything in one tap. Its answers are written by a machine and can be wrong; the source is the page, and a practical ruling is a question for your rav.

Credits renew each month and do not carry over. Cancel any time in the App Store or Google Play; the library stays free either way.
